The new Doogee S98 with its two screens and its night vision is released on March 28
New S98 rugged smartphone was announced by Doogee last month. The company will therefore launch its armored and waterproof smartphone on March 28 on AliExpress and Doogemallthe brand’s official online store.
The Doogee S98 comes with a unique dual-screen design. The display on the back is round and similar to that found on the Huawei P50, but it has a dial to mimic the look of a watch. This 1.1 inch (2.8 cm) screen allows great freedom of customization. It is for example possible to display a photo in the background or to use the colors of an image to include them in the theme of the device. The additional screen is also practical to control your playlists, watch the time, the battery gauge or the notifications without having to return the device.
A unique “night vision” lens…
Also on the back of the smartphone, we will find an island of 3 photo lenses: the main 64 megapixel module, the 8 MP ultra wide-angle and the most interesting, a single 20 MP lens with night vision. The latter allows you to take pictures or videos in complete darkness thanks to its 2 infrared LEDs. A real feat!
Performance is not left out with a MediaTek Helio G96 chip backed by 8 GB of RAM. It is therefore also a device for playing and using resource-intensive applications.
In terms of endurance, the S98 has an XXL 6000 mAh battery which makes it capable of staying away from a power outlet for 2 or 3 days without any problem. The wired charge is 33W while it is also possible to refuel in wireless mode with a power of 15W.

The global launch of the Doogee S98 is scheduled for March 28, 2022, but between April 28 and April 1, the device will retail for the discounted price of $239 at AliExpress (216 €). After that date, the rate will revert to the original $339 (€306).
