HomePod mini: compact and versatile
HomePod mini is the smaller version of the HomePod. It is not a directional speaker, but plays music and podcast to each side. So you hear 360º music. But why is he “smart”? Advantages of this small version
Now that the HomePod mini can also talk to you in Dutch since the iOS 15.4 update, you no longer have to use difficult English words to express yourself. You just talk to Siri as if you were talking to a friend. After the update, there will also be voice recognition in Dutch. This means that the HomePod recognizes your voice and can therefore tell you personal information that others cannot request. Think of your calendar or even passwords.
The handy thing about the mini version of the HomePod is that it is only 8.4 centimeters high and almost 10 centimeters wide. Due to both the smooth design and these small dimensions, this device fits almost anywhere in your room and is never in the way. Moreover, the device also looks very nice: a real eye-catcher for your home.
If you have multiple HomePods, they can be synced. This way you can play the same song everywhere in the house. The Intercom function here is also extremely useful. For example, you say “Hey Siri, intercom ‘we’re going!’ Then every HomePod in your house will receive this notification and you and your family will arrive in plenty of time for your date.
Buy HomePod Mini
The HomePod mini has been on sale in the United States for a long time. There were Dutch web shops where you could purchase this speaker, but they were not official. As a result, you did not receive support from Apple after purchase. Nice that this is now officially for sale at Apple in our little country. You can buy the HomePod mini at the end of March for 109 euros at the official Apple Store.
