The Fuchsia system is heading to the first Google device. He eliminates his predecessor

Fuchsia, an operating system developed by Google for several years and recently discussed much, is officially heading for the first piece of commonly sold hardware. After years of refinement and testing, he leaves the “laboratory” and it begins to settle in the Nest Hub as part of the first wave of deployment. That is, in the original Google device of this series from 2018. At the moment, it is starting to replace the original Cast OS in the devices, however, the replacement is almost invisible from the users’ point of view. The functions, speed and setting options should remain the same. However, the Fuchsia OS in Nest Hub is an important step for Google and the system itself.

After about five years of development, the novelty will officially look into mass-produced equipment for the first time in public. Although it was not even clear at first whether the project had a future (as is often the case with Google), the American company decided to start deploying it. It is of great importance to her, mainly because it is about environment created on its ownwhile Cast OS is built on Linux.

What do these steps mean for the end user? As already mentioned, when using the device, it allegedly does not even have to recognize the replacement of systems in the background. In the future, however, it will be interesting to see if Google starts developing into a form that is already visibly or functionally projected. There are currently no reports on which other devices Fuchsia OS should target after testing in Nest Hub. However, the company’s representatives have previously stated that the world of IoT should be the gateway to this novelty. We’ll see what it does.
