The founder and CEO of Liefergrün use these apps

In the “Homescreen!” series we present the homescreens of people from the social media, marketing, media and tech industries – including app recommendations and tips for everything from to-do lists to small games in between. Today: Niklas Tauch, founder and CEO of delivery green.

Niklas Tauch: I’m extremely minimalist on my “work cell phone” because I really want to avoid any distraction. Therefore, Instagram and Co. simply have no place there.

Slack (for Android) is perhaps the most important app of all for me. That’s why you can find them on both my work and my private phone. For us, the app is the right tool for collaboration, as it allows us to shorten communication channels, increase transparency and speed up processes.

For example, we use a product insight channel in which all employees can use a template to share their suggestions for improvement, which flow directly into the product board and are prioritized there by the product team according to our company KPIs

We used to use ClickUp as an organizational tool for departmental to-dos. After a while, that no longer fitted the way we work. That’s why we’re closed note (for Android) changed. But I like to take a look at what else is available and what could be suitable for us.

Mobility, Delivery, Business

There are only so many icons that can fit on the home screen. Aside from the usual Apple tools, I’ve grouped some essential apps into categories. On busy days, quick access to the most important business and mobility apps, as well as some delivery apps, makes life a little easier.

The Sparkasse app (for Android) is really just a necessary evil and extremely annoying in its usability. I wish I didn’t have to use them a day longer. The only productivity exception on my work smartphone is Spotify (for Android). Because without good music nothing works at work.

Networking is a core element of our business and an essential part of my job. LinkedIn (for android) allows me to connect with investors, partners and potential clients, as well as share our most important news and achievements as a company.

Apps on the private smartphone

Naturally, I am a huge fan of e-mobility and therefore test everything the market has to offer. That’s why I’m sure there are more e-mobility apps on my home screen than others. So if you want to talk shop about what the best are, you can contact me.

I love Spotify! But I haven’t completely renounced radio. With TuneIn Radio (for Android) I can listen to in my old home town of Münster or even listen to Croatian radio. I’m not active on all social networks, but on Instagram (for Android) you can find me.
