Motorola L6

Remember the Motorola L6? This mobile phone was released in 2005, so we are now talking about a 16 year old device. The device followed the Motorola Razr V3, and we also see features of the design of the V3 in the L6. The device was released in the Moto SLVR series. With the dimensions of 113 x 49 x 11 millimeters, the device was very compact. The weight came to 86 grams, which was also very light for that time.

On the left side of the Motorola was a Smart Key to quickly perform an action. On the right side, the L6 was equipped with a Mini-USB connection. This closure was not covered.

What else did the Motorola L6 offer? A 2.0 inch screen with a resolution of 160 x 120 pixels. There was 10MB of storage space and a VGA (0.3 megapixel) camera. The only ‘hip’ thing about the L6 was support for Bluetooth. The list of specifications was supplemented with the 820 mAh battery. You could also change the battery. You can only dream of that with the devices today. The silver-colored device offered support for GPRS and you could use WAP for this. Furthermore, the Motorola L6 was mostly straightforward, straightforward.

The Motorola L6 also came to the Netherlands. The price was around 150 euros, after which it dipped below 100 euros later.

Motorola L6 summarized in 3 points:

  • Thin and light design
  • 2.0 inch screen
