The first pieces of Nothing headphones were auctioned for huge sums
As we informed you last week, the newly formed Nothing, co-founded by former OnePlus boss Carl Pei, complemented the upcoming launch of the first product with an interesting exclusive auction. The first hundred pieces of the expected Nothing Ear headphones (1) was numbered for auction purposes and offered for “blind” bidding. It ended on Monday and, to the surprise of the manufacturer himself, brought in very high amounts.
The Nothing Ear (1) with serial number one can be enjoyed by the author of the bid in the value 1 $ 030 (over 22 thousand crowns). The second highest bid was $ 850, or about $ 18,500. With a complete hundred headphones, he finally did an average bid of $ 327, ie more than 7 thousand crowns. No matter who bid in the auction (even artificially), it certainly worked very well as an attraction for a new product.
The novelty at the performance (scheduled for Tuesday) is expected to impress not only with its advanced audio features, but also with its unique design. The headphones will be normally sell for 99 EUR, which is about 2,600 crowns. The bids in the auction for the first pieces thus exceeded the classic selling price several times over.
