Cybersecurity Awareness Month

Mozilla writes: “This Cybersecurity Awareness month we added new features for Firefox on Android to keep your passwords safe. Firefox allows users to seamlessly access passwords stored by Firefox. This means that you can use any password you have saved in the browser to log into an online account, such as your Twitter or Instagram app. You don’t have to open a webpage.”

You can use biometric security to unlock the app and access your accounts securely. Because you use your smartphone, you can choose your fingerprint or a face scan as confirmation. If you use Firefox Sync, you can also use the saved usernames and password in the desktop version of Firefox. This gives you instant access to a new password manager on Android. It is immediately new competition for 1Password, Bitwarden and LastPass.
