The cheapest smartphone in the world is probably the Shivansh ismart Super Mario, for sale on Amazon India for 2990 rupees, about 36 euros. For this amount you get a device with Android 9, 2 GB memory and 16 GB storage, support for 2G and a hilariously bad promo video.

This is probably the only phone in the world with “jio sim”, known as dual sim in other phones. But that’s not all. A beautiful set is also included with which you can mash all SIM cards into the welcoming slots of this marvel of technology.

The Indian buyers of this Trabant among the phones are without exception extremely outraged at the poor quality of this thing.

After three hours you have to charge this phone again. And that’s not all. For example, a user’s battery was no longer working within 10 days. The Shivansh iSmart Super Mario is therefore probably not only the cheapest, but also the worst smartphone in the world.

Fortunately, such incredibly bad phones are not sold in the Netherlands. Of course you pay almost twice as much for the cheapest model here.
