The CD Project has postponed an important patch for Cyberpunk -apkrig
The developers from the Project CD recently announced that they will not be able to release the expected patch for Cyberpunk 2077 on version 1.2 a few weeks after the previous oneas originally planned. The message appeared on Twitter, although Polish developers did not choose the obligatory yellow template for it this time. However, they explained that due to the recent attack on the network infrastructure, resp. dealing with the consequences and also due to the scope of the planned patch they had to find another date, which is currently the second half of March.
While we dearly wanted to deliver Patch 1.2 for Cyberpunk 2077 in the timespan we detailed previously, the recent cyber attack on the studio’s IT infrastructure and extensive scope of the update mean this unfortunately will not happen — we’ll need some additional time. 1/3

“Our plans for patch 1.2 were much more ambitious than previous fixes. We’ve worked on a number of general game quality improvements and fixes, and we still have a lot of work to do to get you what you’re waiting for. With this in mind, we are aiming for the second half of March, “the developers said in a series of several tweets. They also thanked them for the patience and support they allegedly received from the players and indicated that it was not an easy decision for them either. But the main thing for the authors of Cyberpunk 2077 is that the release of the patch is problem-free and does not attract other unwanted problems.
As a reminder, the fix information for the game was last updated by co-founder Marcin Iwiński, and at the new time indicated that version 1.2 would be available just weeks after the patch for version 1.1. According to Iwiński, this is a larger and more important set of fixes, which will of course cover all available versions in order to remove the most visible bugs and finally make the game properly operational, especially on PlayStation 4, where Sony downloaded the title from digital distribution after the game was released. No more patches are currently scheduled, and other points in the schedule are the first free DLC and promised improvements for the new consoles at the end of the year.
