We present you a gaming PC including the latest hardware from Intel and AMD, which does not (virtually) exceed the magic mark of 1,000 euros. In terms of performance, you hardly make any compromises and at the same time there is still enough money left over for any peripherals or games. This makes it a good option for budget gamers.

The heart of the 1,000 euro PC is next to the Intel Core i5 12400F the XFX Speedster SWFT 210 Radeon RX 6600 Core Gaming. The combination is ideally designed for gaming in Full HD – graphically demanding games should therefore run smoothly with this configuration at maximum settings at 60 FPS and more. Less demanding indie games or eSports titles have even more FPS.

When it came to RAM, the choice fell on the Corsair Vengeance LPX consisting of two bars with 8 GB each. So you have a total of 16 GB of DDR4 RAM available, which clocks at up to 3200 MHz. This is more than sufficient for our PC, especially since higher clock rates in relation to the surcharge hardly bring any significant increase in performance when gaming. Instead, we prefer to use our budget for one Samsung 980 M.2 NVMe SSD with 1TB of storageso that you have enough space for your operating system, personal files and a number of games.
Mainboard, power supply and Co.
At the Gigabyte B660 Gaming X AX DDR4 It is a relatively inexpensive ATX board with a matching LGA 1700 socket. The CPU cooler comes in turn quiet! Dark Rock 4 used, which should easily keep the Core-i5 12400F in check. This provides the necessary power for the system EVGA 650 B5 80+ Bronze PSU with a total of 650 watts. All components then find their place in the NZXT H510 Flow. As the name already suggests, the design of the case has been optimized for maximum airflow, which benefits every gaming PC without exception.

What performance can I expect?
Our 1,000 euro PC is a good all-rounder that is particularly suitable for Gamble in full HD suitable. The combination of Intel Core-i5 12400F and AMD Radeon 6600 allows you to enjoy almost every current title with almost maximum settings. The remaining components were also chosen in such a way that you will still have a lot of fun with the system in the years to come without having to upgrade directly.

When the budget for your gaming PC is limited, you will hardly be able to avoid making one or the other compromise. My goal for this build was therefore to make the compromises primarily in places where you ideally have little or no loss of performance. For example, the mainboard does not have a WiFi module – a problem that can be solved very easily by using a LAN cable. The processor is also a non-K CPU that cannot be easily overclocked. An integrated graphics unit was also omitted in the 12400F. However, due to the dedicated graphics card, this is obsolete anyway.
But the case has plenty of airflow so that your system can always work cool and quiet. Another plus is the fully modular power supply. This prevents unnecessary cable clutter and the black cables also ensure a clean look, which together with the other components create a coherent overall picture.
