The Apple Watch Pro would offer a new design
Apple Watch Series 8 Pro version continues to be talked about and Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman announcement that it will be entitled to a different design from existing models, as well as a new titanium case.
This famous Apple Watch Pro would be larger than the current models of the watch, so much so that it “may only appeal to a subset of customers”. The device is said to have a 7% larger screen. Regarding the design itself, it would be “an evolution of the current rectangular shape and not circular”. Also, Apple would not have planned flat edges.
Another interesting element is autonomy. We already know that a bigger battery is planned. Gurman adds that the watch will last several days on a charge thanks to a new energy saving mode. We must of course expect compromises in terms of functionality to last several days. It remains to be seen what the compromises will be.
The disappointment will come from the side of the sensors. The journalist explains that the body temperature sensor should be present on the Apple Watch Series 8 and the Pro model. On the other hand, the blood pressure measurement system would not arrive before 2025 at best and the glucose measurement function would not be ready before the end of the decade. Suffice to say that you will have to be patient.
