At the end of the year it’s time for the traditional lists again. It’s always nice to look back and see which apps have proven indispensable over the past year. Most apps will not be too surprising, but there is a newcomer. Curious about my list from last year? Read my must-have apps of 2021 here.
Spotify
This year at number 1, Spotify. Spotify is my faithful companion in times of often working from home. I work at home 3 days a week and then, outside of online meetings, always have music playing. I prefer to listen to my own playlists and Spotify lends itself perfectly for that.
Niagara Launcher
Last year I switched to Niagara Launcher. I still like this launcher very much and that is why this app returns to my top 5 of must-have apps. Your home screen is one of the most used apps on your smartphone and that’s why I think it’s important that this app meets all the requirements.
DirectLease Tank Service
Somewhere in the past year I became acquainted with DirectLease Tankservice, an app that is also in the list of cheap refueling apps. Since fuel has become very expensive in recent times, this app is particularly useful. You will see all petrol stations in your immediate vicinity, with a color indication of which is expensive and which is cheap. Red is expensive and green is cheap. When you click on one of the petrol stations in the area, the price of the fuel of your choice is displayed. You can also see here whether the gas station has a shop, car wash or trailer rental. Of course, the opening hours are also shown.
Still the most popular app to contact family, friends and colleagues. Although in my opinion there are better and more complete messaging apps, WhatsApp is a great app that does its job properly.
Over the past year I have continued to use Instagram a lot. Not so much for serious business, but more for hilarious images and reels. Of course it is also nice to see beautiful pictures of acquaintances who are on holiday, for example.
