People who have not yet signed a contract with Telekom previously paid EUR 9.95 a month for MagentaSport. From now on, the subscription costs 12.95 euros per month. That means a price increase of 30 percent. Customers who opt for the annual subscription now have to pay 19.95 euros. Before it was only 16.95 euros. This means that the costs for this group have risen by 17 percent.
MagentaSport: Telekom removes basketball Bundesliga from the offer
Telekom is making a few changes not only to the prices, but also to the offer. For example, she will no longer play the Basketball Bundesliga and the BBL Cup. The TV rights for this are now with the new streaming service Dyn, which is best known for its handball offer.
In addition, the streaming service FC Bayern.tv live is no longer available from MagentaSport. Fans of the team can now stream the games directly on the Bayern website.
However, MagentaSport subscribers can still experience the live games of the women’s Bundesliga and the 3rd division, as well as the ice hockey games of the Penny DEL, the national ice hockey team and the ice hockey world championship. All games of the national basketball team and the Basketball World Cup are still available.
