The series according to Life is Strange is remembered after years -apkrig

In 2016, Square Enix and Legendary Digital Studios solemnly announced the release of a television adaptation of the video game Life Is Strange. Just a year after the release of the original game, such was its success. The story was to be set in the town of Arcadia Bay as well as the original episodic play, and then the project was at the very beginning. He didn’t even have a screenwriter yet. A year later, the rights were sold to the Hulu streaming service. And since then, we’ve basically learned nothing about this adaptation.

Now it has finally come to light that the project is still alive. The Hollywood Reporter reported that Legendary had acquired Canadian singer Shawn Mendes as executive producer for the upcoming series. Together with Andrew Gertler, he will, of course, oversee the music.

Wouldn’t it be appropriate to adapt an interactive movie or series format like Black Mirror: Bandersnatch?

The adaptation arouses curiosity from the beginning, because it is not a typical example of a play that Hollywood studios choose. But this is quite probably the better precondition for transferring the game to the television screen. In addition to Legendary, dj2 Entertainment is also involved in the project. The two companies are also working on the previously announced series My Friend Pedro and an anime by Tomb Raider.

Some fans also wonder if, given the nature of Life is Strange, an interactive film or series format, such as Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, would not be appropriate. Some of the original game could be better transferred to television, and the game would not lose one of the original advantages, ie the ability to really influence the fate of individual characters and decide on the end of their adventure.
