Tasty television: Japanese researcher develops taste screen

There is a screen at Meiji University in Japan that can imitate the taste of food. Users lick the screen to try them out. The idea has to do with the corona pandemic.

Professor Homei Miyashita has presented the – admittedly huge – prototype of a screen that is intended to represent a step on the way to a multi-sensory television experience.
