Tales of Arise: Astral Crystal Grain (Location)

Relatively early in Tales of Arise you need astral crystal grains to make you the primitive sword for Alphen and the simple rifle for Shionne. We will therefore show you at this point where you can find astral crystal grains.

Astral Crystal Grain – Found in Tales of Arise

In Ulzebek you will be introduced to the crafting of weapons in the side quest “Forging from the very beginning”. To complete the mission, you can craft a long sword, which only requires a sharp tooth.

However, you can then use the primitive sword for Alphen and the simple rifle for Shionne directly manufacture the next weapons with better stats. For this you need an astral crystal grain each. Unfortunately, you cannot get this item as loot from Zeugeln, you have to get it in another way.

First you have to continue to follow the main quest until you pass through Glanymede Castle as part of the mission “Balseph’s dethronement”. Here you have to explore several levels and activate the elevator to the upper floors. As soon as you arrive on the 4th floor of Glanymede Castle, you can then find a blue treasure chest in the southeastern room, in which there are two astral crystal grains.

Since you can find two of the astral crystal grains in the chest, you can make both weapons for Alphen and Shionne at the armorer or any dealer at the campfire. It’s best to do this before the boss fight against Lord Balseph in order to be optimally prepared.
