Microsoft has released its recently announced documentary series on the history of the Xbox to mark the brand’s 20th anniversary. After about 40 minutes, the six episodes promise viewers to learn about the ups and downs of the console from Microsoft. You can watch the document on the platforms YouTube, The Roku Channel, Redbox or IMDbTV and at least on YouTube it has official Czech subtitles.

We learned some time ago that preparations for the series started almost three years ago, and Microsoft first asked itself if they had an interesting story to tell. The answer is obvious. The document already showed, among other things, that Microsoft blames how it handled the Lionhead studio, which it bought in 2006 and closed 10 years later. His managers have already learned from this mistake so that they do not repeat it. And one of the conclusions should be to try not to change the studios you buy, but to let them do what they do best.
