The comparison videos nicely demonstrate the improvements Rockstar talked about. Higher resolution, better lighting, added reflections, more detailed textures, longer rendering distance, more realistic weather effects, more natural vegetation or more modern models. Although, in the specific case of the characters, their more comic-style stylization will probably divide the player a lot. But in any case, the comparison videos give you a much better idea of what has actually changed in practice. And that in the end, as a whole, it seems even more pronounced than one might think.

The players also found out from the first trailer and pictures that the Confederate flag worn by Phil Cassidy’s shirt had disappeared from Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Instead, he has a skull on his chest. Phil Cassidy appears in several parts of GTA, but wears the t-shirt only in Vice City. This may indicate that the Confederate flag will disappear from the GTA in general. It wouldn’t be a big surprise.
