SWAN GO offers a seven-day archive for free
SWAN today offers a free basic seven-day archive of TV programs on its SWAN GO platform. This offer will be valid for the entire duration of the contract. What channels are on offer? These are programs such as Unit, Two, Three, TA3, CT1, CT2, CT24, M1, M2 and even RTL. All this, of course, in HD quality.
„V Nowadays, when TV channels offer a myriad of interesting content, it is sometimes a problem to choose the most appropriate show or film at a given moment. That’s why we decided to provide our customers with a basic TV archive for 10 channels so that they can enjoy their show from the record and not be forced to compromise,“Said Ján Matiaska, Head of SWAN’s Product Department.
For new customers, this service will be activated automatically. Existing customers will have to request it via the customer line or in the SWAN Center.
SWAN GO already for Android TV
That’s right, SWAN operators have made their platform available for Android TV as well. We welcome this step, as it is a decent shift with time. In addition, the user environment is optimized for various devices with this system – by which we mean set-top boxes or consoles. Thanks to this, you will also run the SWAN GO application on your old TV, for which you just need to buy a smart set-top box with Android.
The operator also allows you to purchase additional access to the SWAN GO application. Until now, you could only use the application on two devices. Now you can expand this number to up to four approaches, with each additional cost of € 1.49 with VAT. This novelty is a pleasant change that will please especially larger families.
If you are interested, the basic package from the mentioned operator costs € 7.99 per month and you will get more than 25 TV channels and the opportunity to watch TV on up to two devices at the same time. The option to purchase additional access is only possible for SWAN GO, ie not for the IPTV service. See the SWAN operator’s website for more information.
Competitive offer
O2 has recently set up a similar service, but with a smaller number of (15) TV channels. Of course, the price, which costs € 5, also corresponds to this.
The two largest Slovak operators – Telekom and Orange – also have their offers. Telekom calls it Magio GO and for € 3.99 it will offer you 12 stations or at a price of € 5.99 to 60. However, in both cases you will get a TV archive for only 10 stations.
Orange offers up to three packages – Go Basic TV, Go Optimal TV and GO Premium TV. The first package costs € 6 per month and offers 17 programs (14 in HD). The second package costs € 10 and offers 43 channels (19 in HD). The third, most expensive package costs € 15 per month and offers 56 programs (24 in HD). If you want a TV archive, it is up to 31 days for selected TV stations and costs from € 2 per month.
