Studio Display brings 27-inch 5k right in front of your eyes
In addition to a new iPad, iPhone and a computer in the form of the Mac Studio, the Studio Display was also presented. A new screen.
Compatible with the new Mac Studio, but in principle also with the Mac Mini and all other Macs from Apple. The Studio Display is more than just a beautiful display. The 27-inch 5K Retina display is packed with technology to complement your computer.
The design of the display fits nicely with the other products from Apple. The housing is made of aluminum and the screen itself can be moved up to 30 degrees. The display has its own A13 Bionic chipset. Built into the display is a 12MP wide-angle lens with Center Stage support to attend high-quality video conferences. In addition, a microphone is built into the screen for a clear conversation.
The new Studio Display is equipped with three USB-C ports. These ports support speeds of up to 10 GB/s. You can connect another Mac via Thunderbolt. The support for this cable connection is 96W. That means you can also fast charge a 14-inch MacBook Pro this way. It is possible to connect up to three of these screens to a MacBook Pro.
With the arrival of the new Studio Display, Apple is also introducing a new silver-and-black Magic Keyboard with Touch ID, a Magic Trackpad and a matching Magic Mouse. All these accessories are available separately.
The new screen is for sale from March 18, you can order now. Prices start at 1,779 euros for ‘normal’ glass. If you want glass with nano texture, the price is 2,029 euros.
