Streaming service partners with Nike
The days of cozy binging could soon be over. Netflix will soon be bringing a new offer into the house that should bring a lot of variety to the lazy evening in front of the television – and that’s not bad at all. The streaming service is working with Nike.
Netflix get fit: Stream Nike workouts from December 30th
Netflix just switched a lot: gaming has been around for a while, advertising just recently, account sharing is ending soon, and now there is also sports. From the 30th of December Nike offers Netflix customers workouts that they can use to keep fit or finally get fitter.
Netflix has timed the offer well. Just two days before New Year’s resolutions are being made around the world again, the first wave of workout videos at the start. This is what she looks like:
- Kickstart Fitness with the Basics (13 episodes)
- Two Weeks to a Stronger Core (7 episodes)
- Fall in Love with Vinyasa Yoga (6 Episodes)
- HIT & Strength with Tara (14 episodes)
- Feel-Good Fitness (6 episodes)
For fitness fans, there is a lot from courses for beginners to specific exercises: yoga, high-intensity interval training or a program that specifically targets your core muscles. Overall, Netflix wants 30 hours of fitness material offer, the offer should start worldwide.
The videos come from the “Nike Training Club” app, which has been one of the most popular fitness applications for smartphones and tablets for years.
Sports videos from Nike at no extra charge for Netflix subscribers
If you have a Netflix account, you can easily access the Nike offer at no additional cost try out. You can find the workouts on Netflix by searching for “Nike” (source: Netflix). The streaming service should definitely place them prominently in the new releases. A second wave of new workouts is planned for 2023, a date is not yet known.
What else you shouldn’t expect from Netflix:
The videos are initially divided into five programs, each with several workouts. But you can also watch individual episodes and train along the way. While Netflix is expanding its offerings with something it hasn’t seen before, on the plus side Nike offers a much easier way to watch workouts on a big screen via Netflix. It’s also much easier to train with.
