Stephen King recommends disturbing horror series – fans are thrilled

When legendary horror author Stephen King recommends something, film and series fans immediately prick up their ears. So also in the case of King’s latest tweet. The doyen recommended the series From to his 7 million followers on Twitter.

The American writer Stephen King is the most successful horror author of all time and when he recommends another horror work, it certainly carries weight with film and series fans around the world. King seems to have particularly liked the relatively new series From. He shared the following with his followers via Twitter: “If you’re a horror fan and don’t watch From, you should. Scary shit.”

From is about people who cannot leave a small town due to a mysterious power. And to make matters worse, strange creatures appear at night that can not only imitate other people, but also cruelly tear their victims to pieces. It is not without reason that the FSK of the series also has one Age rating from 18 granted.

Who streams From in Germany?

In Germany, From is largely under the radar, which is mainly due to the fact that the series is not available on Netflix or Disney+, but on Paramount+. The streaming provider from the publisher of the same name is still quite new in Germany and is available, for example, as an additional channel on Amazon Prime.

Incidentally, the second season was already running in the USA this year, while a third season is in the pipeline. So it’s worth getting in now! But if you generally like harder horror fare, you should also take a closer look at these two films on Amazon. But be careful: Not for the faint of heart!
