Starship Troopers: Terran Command – -apkrig
Do you still remember the old Star Infantry? Action sci-fi beat from the end of the nineties, which today belongs to the classics of cinematography. It is on this basis that a new computer real-time strategy, Starship Troopers: Terran Command, is created, which does not yet have a release date, but you can try it out thanks to a demo version.
The demo will let you play three scenarios out of a total of twenty, which together will form a comprehensive story campaign for one player. Multiplayer is not considered at all in this case, so only you, your units and hordes of disgusting beetles.
The demo version will be available on Steam until next Thursday, so you have plenty of time to conquer all three missions. The announcement of the demo is accompanied by a detailed video tutorial, which will acquaint you with the basic mechanisms of the game and point out some systems and tricks that are good to keep in mind.
Starship Troopers: Terran Command is quite a common RTS from the point of view. You control several groups of soldiers, which you position around the base to cover the approaching masses of enemies. You have to keep in mind where they are looking and what they can see.
The units are also blocked from view by other units, so if you form a train out of them, only those in the front will be able to fire. On the other hand, the game solves the cant, so all you have to do is send the rear unit to the hill and immediately send a spray to the oncoming insects just above the helmets of your colleagues.
Further details will be revealed by the video itself, but even more so by your own experience with the demo version. The full game is due out this year, but we still don’t have a specific date.
