Gwynne Shotwell cites as examples a Paris-New York flight in less than an hour or even a Los Angeles-Shanghai flight in barely 36 minutes.

The boss of SpaceX estimates that it will take at least 5 years of preparation before starting this type of means of transport, and that many security measures will have to be taken to obtain the green light from the authorities. Inevitably, in these difficult times for a large part of the human population, it is legitimate to wonder how much a ticket for a rocket ride will cost. Asked about this thorny question, Gwynne Shotwell refused to give even a range of prices, but one suspects that it will be necessary to drop a lot of big tickets to travel from one continent to another in a few tens of minutes.
