Sony Xperia 1 IV renders show familiar design

Sony is known for not going crazy with its design, it sticks to the traditional design. That will also be present with the Sony Xperia 1 IV, according to new renders.

Renders of Xperia 1 IV

The fourth generation of the Sony Xperia 1 series is coming. The manufacturer will soon present the new Sony Xperia 1 IV; a phone in the high-end segment. Thanks to leaker OnLeaks we get to see a first image of the new phone from Sony. It is clear that Sony is sticking to its own familiar (outdated?) design. Sony never boarded the notch train, or the bezel-less design. It still stuck to the 21:9 screen.

Sony seems to be continuing that with the Xperia 1 IV; no thin screen edges, no notch, but the familiar design with a fairly angular design. The images are based on the information known to date. We see a camera module similar to that of the current model, the Xperia 1 III. The fingerprint scanner at Sony is still not in the screen, but in the power button. The 3.5 millimeter connection is still present. In any case, we expect a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, otherwise we have to wait and see what Sony has in store for us.
