Solve Yura Quest (Find Nagakiba and Ronin Set)

Yura, Hunter of the Bloody Fingers is one of the NPCs in Elden Ring. You can complete a multi-part quest with Yura that rewards you with his Katana Nagakiba and Ronin armor set, among other things. You can read here how you can solve the Yura quest and get its items.

Yura at the ruins on the coast

You can first meet Yura in Limgrave near the Coastal Ruins of Mercy. He’s standing here right by the campfire under the ruins. If you speak to him, he will warn you about Lake Agheel and the dragon there.

If you kill the dragon despite the warning, he will congratulate you if you talk to him again and get the Church of the Dragon Communion report where you can hand in the captured dragon heart.

Notice: It is irrelevant for Yura’s quest whether you speak to him at the ruins or kill the dragon. You can also skip these first encounters with him completely. It only becomes important in the next step.

Yura at Murkyflow Cave

Follow the course of the river north in Lake Agheel and you will turn left to the Entrance to the Murky River Cave come. At this point the Bloody fingers of Nerijus invade your world. He will come running from the north. But you should run a bit to the south, because shortly after Nerijus Yura rush to your world to help.

With Yura’s help, you can easily defeat Nerijus and get the dagger Reduvia as loot. Then ride further upstream to a dark area under a collapsed ruin. Here you will meet Yura again, who will tell you about his Hunt for the Bloody Fingers reported. Listen to all dialogues with him until they repeat to complete this quest step.

More important Notice: If Yura dies in the fight against Nerijus, the quest ends at this point and you have no option to continue it. You would then have to create a new save.

Yura in front of the main gate of Raya Lucaria Academy

After finding and using the Shimmerstone Key, you will arrive at the Academy’s main gate. If you follow the path north over the destroyed bridge here, you can enter on the ground red call icon discover. Use it to rush to the aid of Yura in his world.

Here you have to Raven Roost Assassins defeat along with Yura. As a reward, you will receive the Mist Raptor Ashes of War upon your return. In addition, Yura is now standing on the side of the bridge. Talk to him to get a thank you wrought stone 5 to get.

Exhausted all dialogues with him again in order of Eleanor to find out what seems to be the worst of all Bloody Fingers. You have then successfully completed this step.

Notice: Unlike the first fight against Nerijus, in this fight you or Yura can die as many times as you like and try again until you succeed. This will not cancel the quest.

Yura in the second church of Marika

One last time you meet Yura lying on the ground in the second church of Marika on the Altus Plateau at. Apparently he lost the fight against Eleonora and dies before your eyes. Then you can do that Katana Nagakiba loot from his corpse.

But watch out, because in the next moment Eleonora (Purple Bloody Finger) will invade your world. Defeat them for rewards Eleonora’s polearmthe Cleansing Crystal Tear and Crooked Finger Medicine to obtain.

Meet Shabriri in Yura’s body

After Rold’s Great Elevator near the Zamor ruins you can find Shabriri in Yura’s body. In a long conversation he tries to convince you of the path of the raging flame.

You can then attack and kill him if you want. As a reward you can then the complete ronin set loot from him.

Killing Yura: what does he drop?

If at any point in the quest you choose to kill Yura, you will be rewarded 1000 runes and be Katana Nagakiba obtain. So you can get his katana earlier if you don’t want to wait.
