Snooze emails until later
You can temporarily delete emails from your inbox in Gmail until you need them again. Gmail calls it snoozing messages until a later time and you can do that very easily in four steps.
Snooze emails in Gmail
Bringing order to chaos in your overflowing inbox is a tedious job. Each time, more or less important messages are added that you may not have time or sense for at that moment. You can postpone that emails until a later moment. You remove them, as it were, from your inbox temporarily and see them again at the moment you have set them yourself. This is very easy in just four steps:
- Open the Gmail app on your phone
- Open an email
- In the top right corner, tap More and then on Snooze
- Please choose a later date or time to receive this email
You can also snooze multiple emails at once. To do this, select the messages and then follow steps 3 and 4 above. As soon as you snooze an email for a specific time, you’ll get a notification on your phone at that time.
Need a message you snoozed in Gmail sooner? Then tap the side menu at the top left of Gmail. There you will find the messages below Snoozed back.
