Snapdragon Vs. Exynos. Which chip is more powerful?

We have known for some time that next week (specifically on February 9) we will see the Galaxy Unpacked conference, which will feature the Galaxy S22 flags and Galaxy Tab S8 tablets. The phones will be powered by either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 or the Samsung Exynos 2200, depending on the region. Both variants have already been seen in the Geekbench benchmark, so we can compare which one is more powerful, at least on paper.

Galaxy S22: Snapdragon vs. Exynos

Specifically, we look at the Galaxy S22 Ultra model, which is referred to as the SM-S908U in the case of the Exynos variant, the Snapdragon version is referred to as the SM-S908B. The results are then very tight. In the single-core test, the Exynos version earned 1226 pointswhile Snapdragon variant 1168 points. In a multicore test, Exynos reached 3462 pointswhile the chipset from Qualcomm on 3508 points.

Both chipsets are made using 4nm technology and have identical cores. The difference may come in graphics performance, but Geekbench specializes mainly in processors.
