Snapchat source of controversy
With its Parental Center, Snapchat hopes to reassure following the many controversies that concern it. Sale of drugs, prostitution, revenge porn… Just like TikTok or Instagram, the social network is often blamed for the repeated slippages of certain users.
Evan Spiegel, CEO of Snapchat, frequently praises the company’s investment in tracking down illegal behavior. If this leads to nothing other than tools such as this Parental Center, the twisted present on the network still have a bright future ahead of them.
