Smoother images even in laptops: OLED displays with 90Hz
Samsung introduced its 14-inch OLED displays with a 90Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels in March. Some time ago, Samsung sent them into production and they were the first to appear in Asus notebooks. We will also see them from other brands.
OLED displays with 90Hz frequency not only in Asus laptops
In addition, the South Korean giant claims that, thanks to OLED technology, they will look even smoother than 120Hz LCD panels, which we will have to wait for in a test. In any case, laptops with a higher refresh rate are missing in the market, if we omit the gaming ones. Since most mid-range phones offer a 90 or 120Hz panel, it might be time to come up with laptops as well.
Proof that these displays will get into middle-class laptops is the fact that they appear in the Asus ZenBook 14X Pro or VivoBook Pro 14X models, which cost € 1,300 (about 33,000 crowns), with this model specifically offering dedicated graphics. RTX 3050 Ti. In time, we could theoretically see a cheaper model with integrated graphics.
