Slovak open world events will cross Bratislava, GTA and Mafia -apkrig

You don’t have to read about the Vivat Slovakia open world event on Vortex for the first time. We focused on it in October 2019 in connection with the game Vivat Sloboda. From the beginning, Team Vivat wanted to build on this debut with a larger project that will take players through the wild 1990s. Even then, the authors promised that the game would offer dubbing, the opportunity to leave the car and use weapons. The team itself claimed inspiration from the Grand Theft Auto series, but wanted to put such a game on the Slovak backdrop. And now, after two years, the title is finally reminiscent.

Team Vivat has released the first teaser, through which it invites us to open Bratislava. The play was created with the help of the Slovak Art Support Fund and at first glance makes a more ambitious impression than the debut. The authors promise professional Slovak dubbing, the well-known streets of Bratislava, an event and a dark story in which government leaders shake hands with the underworld. The story missions themselves are supposed to be inspired by modern history.

The distinction between the secret service and organized crime is blurred. Those who should face each other suddenly pull together for one end. And for the shorter one, an ordinary person.

The developers introduce us to the story and say that the newly established state is going through its first birth pains. The streets are to be controlled by mafia gangs who are not afraid to be active even during the day. But the practices of the underworld were also to be adopted by some government leaders who use mobsters for the dirtiest work. According to them, the difference between the secret service and organized crime is blurred. Those who should face each other suddenly pull together for one end. And for the shorter one, an ordinary person.

The main character is a man in his thirties who works for the secret service. He pretends to be a taxi driver, which allows him to move freely through the city and monitor people who are in the search engine of the Slovak Information Service. Regarding the mentioned professional Slovak dubbing, the main role will be taken by Marián Labuda Jr. Lukáš Frlajs will speak to his colleague and the authors promise other names such as Rasťo Piško or Milan Žitný. The soundtrack is supposed to feature period music and the title track is 90s.

At this time, we do not know the release date or all target platforms. But it’s worth remembering that the title Vivat Sloboda was released on Windows, Mac and Xbox. He already took us to open Bratislava and the players spent the revolutionary days in the shoes of a taxi driver who drives party officials and protesting students. You can find more details about Vivat Sloboda in our older article.
