Telecom provider Simyo is making great strides. In addition to SIM-only and prepaid, the provider now also offers affordable device subscriptions. We list all the details.
Simyo with device subscriptions
In order to be able to serve even more (potential) customers, KPN subsidiary Simyo has started selling device subscriptions. As a result, Simyo is no longer just a SIM-only provider. Although you can still choose prepaid or a SIM-only subscription, you can now also choose a device with your subscription.
At Simyo you can choose from a new smartphone, but also from a refurbished device. As a customer, you can indicate yourself whether you want to pay for the telephone per month, or whether you want to deposit the purchase price immediately. If you choose to pay the telephone costs per month, you can determine the amount yourself, so that the monthly price comes down to an amount that is desirable for you. You take out a device subscription for a period of two years. After the term of your subscription, the device bundle will be removed from your subscription and you only pay the subscription costs.
On the Simyo website you can see which devices can be purchased in combination with a subscription. They come in different price ranges, including from Oppo, Samsung, Motorola and also Apple is offered at Simyo. The refurbished devices are on a separate page. These devices have been refurbished and come with just as much warranty as with new devices.
To celebrate that Simyo offers device subscriptions, you can temporarily take advantage of interesting offers. For example, the provider, which has repeatedly come out as the best by the Consumers’ Association, will not let you pay connection costs. Simyo also gives you a discount on all Samsung devices and the Oppo A54 5G, with the promotion valid until 28 February. You also get a discount on the different bundles. If you have KPN Internet at home, your bundles are also doubled for free.
