Shopify integrates Shop Pay with Facebook
No time right now?
Shopify integrates Shop Pay with Facebook and Instagram. Like PayPal, the tool enables direct purchase without leaving the platform.
Shopify is expanding its Shop Pay payment option to Facebook and Instagram. It’s the first time Shopify has offered this tool outside of its own platform like that Company notifies.
For all Shopify retailers, Shop Pay will initially be integrated into Instagram and, in the coming weeks, into Facebook. Initially, the tool is limited to the USA.

Seamless shopping
Shop Pay is to be displayed as a new payment option on Facebook Pay, just like PayPal. Customers then do not have to enter their data a second time, but can complete the purchase within Facebook.
This should make the payment process faster and a cancellation of the purchase less likely. Customers can also track their order via Shopify.
Integrate other services
“We will continue to work with Facebook to bring a number of Shopify services and products to these platforms to make social selling even better,” said Carl Rivera, general manager of Shop, according to the press release. So it shouldn’t stop at the integration of Shop Pay.
Facebook isn’t the only platform Shopify offers special integration for. Shopify has also entered into collaborations with Tiktok and Pinterest.
