Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One – -apkrig
This year, Studio Frogwares will try what it’s like to publish a game without a publisher behind their backs. It offers a comparison of their own freedom with the freedom in the upcoming game Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One, which is partially answered by a new video responding to the most frequently asked questions.
The new detective adventure will not let you into the open world of the Mediterranean island immediately, but will first introduce you to the first of five major, interconnected main challenges. But then you can dictate to yourself which case you want to deal with at the moment.
The chief is watching the investigation into Sherlock’s mother’s death, and it should take you between 12 and 15 hours to complete it. At the same time, you can deal with more than 30 side missions or cases, some of which are said to be the size of the main ones, and in which you will investigate other oddities related to local citizens. If you want to collect everything, count on at least 40 invested hours.
Your choices should depend on every step, because not only does the whole game have several possible endings, but the same goes for all the main missions and most of the side ones. He will accuse the innocent, followed by a restart, but an adequate continuation of the story.
Sherlock only gets into combat situations exceptionally and only when it makes sense in the story, so it probably won’t be just “fun” to shoot the whole island. When it comes to suits, they can have a purely cosmetic purpose, but they will also help you fit in better with specific social groups, get you in inaccessible places, and even come up with the word makeup when you need to change your age.
The creators briefly mentioned your family villa, which you will gradually occupy. You can buy furniture and various equipment, as well as suits, in the store or you will find them in the world or you will be rewarded with them.
The latest new information is the first opportunity to listen to the dubbing of the two main actors. Sherlock Holmes is dubbed by Alex Jordan, whose voice belongs to the same character from the previous game in the Sherlock Holmes series: The Devil’s Daughter. At the same time, you could hear him in Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince, you can hear him in Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, and it is his screams, sighs and other sounds that come from the playable character in Demon’s Souls.
Sherlock’s partner Jon is dubbed by Wil Coban, who lent his voice to several supporting characters in Horizon Zero Dawn and played, for example, in the beat King Arthur: Legend of the Sword.
Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One should be released this year on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5 and Xbox One and Series X / S.
