Apple Watch Series 7 sold out in some countries

It is expected to last only a month. In September we expect to see a whole new line of products from Apple. Leading up to this (yet unannounced) event, the Apple Watch Series 7 Edition has sold out in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

Since the Apple Watch Series 7 Edition is sold out, we eagerly await the Series 8 and the Apple Watch Pro. The latter is rumored to be the first Pro model of Apple’s smartwatch line. Read more in this article.

Apple Watch Series 7 Edition out of stock

On Apple’s official website, most models of the Apple Watch Series 7 Edition are now sold out. This is the more expensive version of the ‘normal’ Apple Watch with gold or ceramic. Under the hood is the same hardware.

Only the 45mm version of this Series 7 Edition is still available in the aforementioned countries. However, for the majority, we see a message that the Apple Watch is ‘currently unavailable’ in these countries. Is the shrinking stock of Apple Watch Series 7 an omen for the new Apple Watch Series 8 and the first Apple Watch Pro?

Rumor: Soon an Apple Watch Pro on the market

To make room for the Apple Watch Series 8 and the Apple Watch Pro, Apple seems to have put production of the Apple Watch Series 7 Edition on the back burner. The Series 8 seems to be a small improvement on its predecessor. There are rumors that it will even get the same chip.

We’re more excited about the Pro model of Apple’s popular smartwatch. This Apple Watch Pro is made for extreme sports with a more robust design and can make the Edition model obsolete.

Apple Watch Pro: sports extremely long

Some details about the Apple Watch Pro have already been leaked. The Apple Watch Pro should cost no less than $900, according to Apple analyst Mark Gurman. For this money you also get a larger display and Apple can therefore also put a larger battery in the model. So you can (hopefully) run a very long distance without this smartwatch letting you down.

In addition, like the Apple Watch Edition, this watch would be made of titanium, making it more durable than Apple Watches made of aluminum and stainless steel. It is therefore not illogical that the Apple Watch Series 7 should make way for other premium models such as the Apple Watch Series 8 and the Apple Watch Pro.

Of course, the Apple Watch Pro will also have the new body temperature sensor. We expect to see this also in the new Apple Watch Series 8. This function is primarily intended to help women find out the fertile days. On the other hand, we also hear rumors that this feature will tell you if you have a fever.

When will Apple release a new Apple Watch?

Apple is likely to introduce the new Apple Watch line in September. Around this time, we also expect the new iPhone 14 line. Most likely, Apple will call this new Apple Watch “Pro” so that it matches other models. We already see this name in the MacBook Pro, iPad Pro and AirPods Pro.
