Scammers send emails. They inform about the right to a tax refund
The Financial Report Facebook page informs about the new fraud. Anyone who receives an email informing them of their right to a tax refund of a certain amount of euros should be vigilant. You can be robbed by fraudsters.
The financial report does not send any similar emails. The authors of the reports are fraudsters
The financial report states on its Facebook page that an unknown sender sends an email to taxpayers on behalf of the financial report. The report lets them know that, after 2020, they are entitled to a tax refund of EUR 314.35.
However, it has a small hook. The person is obliged to fill in a certain form, which is allegedly possible to return the payment. Less experienced individuals could very easily succumb to the fraudster and probably lose their money. It’s important to think about whether similar emails can just be a simple hoax.
In this case, this is clearly the case and we would like to warn you not to respond to such an email in any way. It is also extremely important not to click on any attached web links. But you can do the worst by filling out the application form itself.
If you accidentally get into trouble, contact the police. We would therefore like to briefly inform you that the financial administration does not send any such emails. Finally, the Financial Report page noted that this latest attempt by fraudsters will be addressed in cooperation with the competent authorities.
