Sanne Akkerman (Laviesanne) gave birth to a daughter: ‘Start was intense’
Great news for Sanne Akkerman (30), better known as Laviesanne: daughter Amélie Sophie was born yesterday after a lightning-fast delivery. The Kek Mama columnist makes this known on Instagram.
“With a portion of thunder and violence, our daughter Amélie Sophie was born at home yesterday,” Sanne writes with a photo with the girl.
Heavy start
The ‘flash delivery’ lasted two and a half hours, but Amélie had a rough start. “She had to be resuscitated and we spent one night in the hospital. Now back home and we are doing well”, says Sanne. She and her partner already have a son – James (7) – and a daughter: Isé (4).

Kek Mama columnist
Sanne is best known for the hilarious sketch videos on her Instagram channel @laviesanne. In her Kek Mama columns she writes about motherhood. So tinkering is not really her thing. “Where other mothers and their offspring have hours of fun playing with toilet rolls and shoe boxes, the idea of having to draw a puppet, let alone make something creative, gives me Spanish anxiety.” You can read her columns here.
