“Samsung will come with Galaxy S23 FE, but scrap S22 FE”

We saw the Fan Edition smartphone with the S20 and S21, but it doesn’t seem to be included for the Galaxy S22. For next year, however, there are plans to release a Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, according to new details.

Galaxy S23 is coming

It seems that only the Galaxy S22 series will be saying goodbye to an FE model. That there was no Samsung Galaxy S22 FE in it, that message has been around for some time, but now the messages are also about the next model; the Galaxy S23FE. The Fan Edition devices usually offer good specifications for a decent price. The Galaxy S20 FE was a bull’s eye, as we wrote in the Galaxy S20 FE review, and in our Galaxy S21 FE review, the S21 FE also managed to get a decent score. That last device, however, appeared at an unfortunate moment; a month before the launch of the Galaxy S22 series.

Due to the persistent chip shortage, Samsung would not want to implement the plans for the Galaxy S22 FE. The components will instead be used for the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The popularity of that device would have exceeded expectations.

According to the latest information, Samsung plans to release the Galaxy S23 FE in 2023. The company is said to have plans to produce three million units of the new model. If the reports are correct, Samsung is said to be planning to sell 13 million Galaxy S23 Ultra, while 8.5 million units are planned for the regular model. We will find out all the details next year.
