Samsung starts testing Android 11 with One UI 3.0 for Galaxy S10 series

Samsung has started testing the latest Android version for the devices from the Galaxy S10 series. To be precise, it is about the update to Android 11, along with the One UI 3.0 skin that Samsung puts over Android.

Galaxy S10 is being prepped for Android 11

The Korean manufacturer has started testing Android 11 for three models from the Galaxy S10 series. These tests are necessary to make the final version of the new update as stable as possible. In addition to the Galaxy S10 series, Samsung has already started testing the update for the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, the Galaxy S20 series and the Note 20 devices.

The S10 series concerns the following devices that are being tested; the Galaxy S10, S10 + and the S10e. The S10 Lite is not yet among the lucky ones, which is in another update cycle but is expected to get the update at a later date. The beta update currently being tested is only available to users in the UK, South Korea and India. In the Netherlands and Belgium it is not possible to participate in the test versions. So we will have to wait for the final version to appear.

In addition to Android 11, Samsung also tests with One UI 3.0. This is the latest version of the skin that will be on top of Android. At the moment it is not known when Samsung will roll out the update for the Galaxy S10 series to users. We expect this to be early next year. We secretly expect it for the S20 series in December, but these are our expectations based on past results, and they are no guarantee for the future ;-).
