Samsung shows new foldable products at CES in Las Vegas
At the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Samsung showed new folding models to the public. It concerns a Flex and a Slidable concept.
Samsung Flex and Slideable
Several brands have canceled for the CES fair in Las Vegas, but Samsung is there this year. The Korean brand shows here multiple concepts of foldable devices. We also see variants of the company’s previously released foldable smartphones. With the Flex models, Samsung has showcased the Flex S and the Flex G in Las Vegas. They can be described as multi-foldables where the device offers not two, but three panels. The addition behind the name Flex was not chosen for nothing, so one model closes as a kind of S, the other model as a G. In the video below you get a good picture.
There is also the Flex Note for the Flex series. It shows that we certainly do not have to rule out the possibility that laptops will have a flexible screen in the future. When you use it unfolded, you have a large 17.0 inch screen at your disposal; folded a ‘normal’ size of 13 inches.
We also see the Flex Slidable, a concept that is reminiscent of the LG Rollable that was never released. With this device we see a fairly common design, but an extra screen can be rolled out on the side.
It is not said that Samsung will actually release the models shown on the market. In any case, it shows that the developments surrounding screens are not standing still. Who knows what the future will bring here.
