Samsung shares its own details security update February 2023: contains 7 patches

Google released February security update for Android this week. Manufacturers then also start working on this themselves. So is Samsung, which adds seven of its own patches on top of Google’s update.

Another month, another security update. This week, security update February 2023 was released by Google. In the coming weeks, various smartphones from various manufacturers will see the new update arrive. Samsung will also update the necessary devices with the new update. Google has addressed dozens of vulnerabilities in the Android system. In addition to the patches from Google, Samsung has also added patches itself.

In total, there are seven of Samsung’s own patches that are being implemented. Issues that Samsung is tackling include security, with extra attention being paid to the fingerprint scanner and the Secure Folder option. Samsung has also made improvements around security in the Phone and Contacts apps.
