Samsung says goodbye to the Galaxy Note line-up

Samsung has had several years of the Galaxy Note series; with highs and lows. The Note series now seems to be coming to an end, according to information shared by Korean media.

End for Galaxy Note series

A Korean medium brings the news that Samsung is finally saying goodbye to the Samsung Galaxy Note series. This is according to the latest report from South Korea. The rumor that Samsung would stop with the Note series had been in the air for some time, but now it seems that the end has finally come. The last phone in the series was the Galaxy Note 20, a Galaxy Note 21 did not come, while the S-series was ‘happy’ counting. At the end of this year, Samsung is said to stop production of all Galaxy Note models.

According to the Korean source, Samsung has no plans to release another Note device for the 2022 line-up. As we actually saw with the S21 Ultra, the Galaxy S22 Ultra should offer the Note experience. This smartphone will probably be released again with S Pen support. Parts from the software must also appear for this smartphone.

Samsung is reportedly discontinuing the Note series in order to ramp up production of the foldable devices. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 are the most recently released foldables from Samsung and are doing very good business. The number of Z Fold models sold has already risen to 13 million units. Samsung sees an upward trend in the number of orders and that is also at the expense of the Note series. The Galaxy Note series sold 12.7 million units in 2019; in 2020 there were 9.7 million.
