Samsung rolls out August update for Galaxy S21 series and Galaxy Z Flip

The three smartphones from Samsung’s Galaxy S21 series will now be updated with a new security patch. The same news applies to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip that gets a new patch.

August update for S21 and Z Flip

A new update is being rolled out to the Samsung Galaxy S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra. In the Netherlands and Belgium, the three high-end smartphones from the Korean manufacturer will now receive the latest security patch available for Android. This means that the security of the three smartphones has been improved.

Security update for the S21 series will be rolled out in August 2021. More than thirty vulnerabilities have been closed with this from Google. In addition, Samsung always releases a monthly overview with its own patches. This month, that number will be 8. They have also been added to the update for the Galaxy S21.

Another device for which the security update of August is ready is the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. This smartphone will also receive the update in the Netherlands and Belgium from now on.
