Samsung releases ‘Good Lock’ in the Netherlands and Belgium: endlessly personalize your Galaxy

Samsung’s Good Lock was already available for download in various countries, but this was officially not possible in the Netherlands and Belgium. That will change, because from now on it is possible. With Samsung Good Lock you can personalize your smartphone endlessly.

If you want to adjust various things on your Samsung Galaxy smartphone, you had to fiddle around in the settings until now, or look for (launcher) apps in the Google Play Store. Now there is an alternative, because you can now download the Good Lock app from the Galaxy Store in the Netherlands and Belgium. Earlier, the application was already available in many other regions. If you wanted to use it here, you had to get started with the APK, so the latter is no longer necessary. ‘Redesign your Galaxy’ is the slogan of the app, and it describes a bit what you can do with it.

What exactly can you do with Good Lock? Good Lock is actually a collective name for the app, while you can really personalize everything through plug-ins that you install from the app. For example, you can download NavStar, a plug-in that allows you to change the shapes and symbols of the navigation bar to something else. You can also get started with Wonderland which allows you to create live wallpapers that you can then use. There are also plug-ins for more camera options, an option that makes it even easier to operate your phone with one hand, and Good Lock offers NotiStar for more notification settings. Users can also create their own themes for the smartphone, personalize the home screen settings, change the status bar and customize the Samsung Keyboard to their liking.

Every year, Samsung comes with a nice update for Good Lock. According to reports, Good Lock 2023 would get the ability to add a stopwatch to the status bar. Other improvements are also expected.
