Samsung mini projector on Prime Day at the best price
One of the coolest product innovations of 2022: With “The Freestyle”, Samsung has a clever and versatile portable projector on offer. For Prime Day, the “can beamer” is available at the best historical price.
Samsung’s mobile projector The Freestyle was one of the coolest products at CES 2022, but started out quite expensive with an RRP of 999 euros. For Prime Day, however, the device is now significantly cheaper, making it even more interesting: For 649 euros on sale at Amazon, the device becomes an affordable portable television.
What Samsung’s The Freestyle can do
The Samsung Freestyle is a small one portable projector with integrated battery and 1080p resolution – the size of the projected image can be between 30 and 100 inches diagonal, the maximum brightness at 550 lumens.
Thanks to auto-keystone, auto-leveling and automatic sharpness adjustment, you don’t have to adjust the Freestyle always shows an optimal picture. A special function is the automatic adjustment of the colors when the wall behind is not white, so that the picture always looks as natural as possible.

The Freestyle is pretty flexible when it comes to features. You can rotate it 180 degrees and use it to project an image onto the ceiling, for example. It can be operated by battery or mains adapter. A good sounding one 360° sound system is already integrated. It has WiFi and includes the Tizen smart TV operating system broad app support In addition to Bixby, it also supports the Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa as language assistants.
Important protocols for wireless image transmission are integrated, including Apple AirPlay, and a mini-HDMI port for connecting laptops, game consoles and other devices is also integrated. With a cap over the lens, the Freestyle can also be used as smart and atmospheric room lighting instead of as a projector.
