Samsung is working on a new activity tracker; Galaxy Fit 3
A new activity tracker from Samsung is on the way, as is clear from new messages. It concerns the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3. The current model, the Fit 2, was announced two years ago.
Galaxy Fit 3 is coming
Samsung announced the Samsung Galaxy Fit 2 in September 2020; an activity tracker for keeping track of your sporting performance, but also for finding your messages and notifications. Although it seems that all attention is focused on the Samsung Galaxy Watch range, Samsung has not forgotten the Fit models. There seems to be a successor in the pipeline in the form of the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3.
The information about the arrival of a successor to the Fit 2 comes from the Samsung Community Forum. When asked if and when the Fit 3 will be released, the answer came that it is planned for the second half of this year, or when there is a delay, the first half of next year. It is therefore not yet entirely certain whether the model will be released this year, or whether this will be the case in 2023. Reportedly, the price will be between 35 and 40 euros, but this is the price for the Korean market. In the Netherlands, the Fit 2 became available for 49 euros.
Specifications and photos of the Galaxy Fit 3 are not yet available. We’ll have to wait a little longer for that. The choice of Samsung to release a new model is not very strange. Other brands such as Xiaomi, Huawei and Oppo have similar models.
