Samsung has specified how its four-year security support will work
Korean Samsung recently announced a pleasant news regarding the release of security updates for its mobile devices. The company decided to provide them anew for a period of four years from the issue of the model. This is good news, which has certainly pleased many owners of mobile phones and tablets of this brand. The termination of support is often the reason for the transition to a new facility. However, it was not entirely clear what system will be introduced for four years of support for security updates of Samsung devices. Now we know, as the company has updated its website with lists of phones and tablets and added the necessary labels.
For flagship and latest phones and tablets, they will receive updates every month. As the devices get older, they most often fall within a quarterly period. And for devices older than two years from now on, the delivery of patches will apply twice a year. It’s not a completely comfortable speed, but it’s definitely better.
