Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 gets two major improvements: camera and hinge

There is news about the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. The new foldable device should have several improvements; think of the camera and the folding technique.

Improvements for Galaxy Z Fold 4

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is expected later this year, probably together with the Galaxy Z Flip 4. More information is now coming out about the new foldable device. Samsung would provide the phone with a renewed hinge. It would be a new type of hinge that works with one hinge; where there are now two. The source reports that the new hinge should provide a weight saving and one that is easier to repair.

The other improvement in the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 has to do with the camera. This is still somewhat behind that of the Galaxy S series, while the Z series can also be seen as high-end. Samsung would provide the device with the same telephoto lens as in the Galaxy S22 series. This is a 10 megapixel lens with 3x optical zoom. It is considered possible that the rest of the camera setup is also the same as that of the S22. This means that a 50MP camera is also expected, along with optical image stabilization.

According to the latest reports, Samsung seems to stick to the location for the fingerprint scanner. This would also be on the side with the new model.
