Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is getting bigger: 43 and 47 mm

New images have been leaked of Samsung’s upcoming wearable: Galaxy Watch 6 would have thinner screen edges and therefore more screen, in addition to a new quick switch strap.

Samsung will probably announce the new smartwatches in a month. This concerns Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. The new images that have been leaked look very similar to official images. WinFuture comes with it: it shows, among other things, the different types of watches in all kinds of colors and angles. Watch 6 does not have a very original slant in this: it actually looks very much like the previous watches. It has a sporty design with two buttons and a sapphire crystal panel to protect the screen. However, the screen edges are thinner.

Due to those thinner screen edges, the wearable probably has a larger screen: there is talk of 1.31 inch and 1.47 inch screen. The battery would also be larger for both variants, although Samsung will continue to work with the sizes 40 mm and 44 mm. Galaxy Watch 6 comes in black, silver and beige colors. The straps seem to change to the more standard watch strap with a quick switch mechanism, instead of one of those pins that you press a hole on.

A Greater Classic

With Galaxy Watch 6 Classic we see a physical, rotating bezel and also that larger screen with thinner screen edges. It is also getting bigger: no longer 42 mm and 46 mm, but 43 mm and 47 mm. This gadget appears in the colors black and silver and there will be a new leather strap with stitching design. There is probably an Exynos W930 chipset inside to make the watch faster. Both watches run on Wear OS 4.

At least, that’s what everyone thinks: this is not official information from Samsung. Hopefully we’ll hear more soon: probably at the Unpacked event the company has announced for the end of July.

What do you hope from the new Galaxy Watch 6? Leave it now in the comments.
