Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Lite will be launched in June
Samsung’s Tab S7 series will get a Lite model very soon. It was previously announced that it would be the very first Lite tablet from Samsung with a 5G connection. This time, details about the screen size and the launch date of the Tab S7 Lite were leaked: the tablet is not expected to appear until June.

Samsung managed to achieve considerable success with its Galaxy Tab S6 Lite last year, despite the fact that it faces a lot of competition from the iPad, which is comparably priced. However, the tablet was very similar to its predecessor: the Galaxy Tab S5e. With the upcoming Galaxy Tab S7 Lite, Samsung wants to give the Lite series a new lick of paint. With the arrival of 5G, Samsung is also likely to say goodbye to the outdated chipset it used in its previous Lite models, up to the Galaxy S6 Lite. It is still unknown which chipset Samsung has in mind for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Lite. Samsung may be shopping internally for its Exynos 1080 chipset, one of the first Exynos chipsets to support 5G networks.
S7 Lite with 12.4-inch screen
Besides the chipset with 5G support, the Tab S7 Lite is also addressed in other areas. This will give the tablet a larger screen, reports the rumor WalkingCat via Twitter. The S6 Lite has a 10.4-inch screen, while the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Lite has a 12.4-inch screen. For the screen, Samsung uses LTPS TFT technology, the resolution is 2,560 x 1,600 pixels (QHD).
Finally, the published image shows that the tablet will be launched in June. Last year, the Tab S6 Lite launched in April. In 2019, Samsung also launched the Galaxy Tab S5e in April – a different launch date comes as a surprise. For the time being it is important to take these rumors with the necessary grains of salt. Besides the Tab S7 Lite, WalkingCat also leaked details about the Tab A7 Lite. That tablet, if the rumors contain the correct information, will be launched together with the Tab S7 Lite in June. The tablet would get an 8.7-inch screen and a metal housing. Other details of the tablets are as yet unknown.
Expect the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Lite to get a price of between 400 and 500 euros, while Samsung’s Galaxy Tab A7 will probably be sold for less than 200 euros.
